If this is true for you, Jovie needs your authentic love of children and amazing skills to provide fun and reliable childcare for families in their homes. Our families need your joy, your sense of fun, and your childcare know-how.
We care for families in the greater Boston suburbs and Rhode Island. We are actively hiring in-home sitters/caregivers willing to commute within a 30-mile radius of their home to care for local families.
Hourly Rate between $22-24/hr, based on experience and with priority given to candidates with full-time availability.
What's it like on our Jovie sitter team?
- Our sitters work 2-5 days per week between the hours of 7am-7pm, providing care for families with children of all ages from infant to 12+, within a 30-mile drive of their homes.
- They create a safe environment for the children in their care to learn and play.
- They engage the children in creative arts & activities, as well as outdoor fun.
- They leave it better for the families by ensuring all kid-friendly messes are cleaned up before they go.
- They communicate well with the children & the parents.
- You enter your availability to care for families, we handle the scheduling for you - all on a user-friendly mobile app.
Sitter Requirements
- Transportation: A valid driver's license and reliable car – transportation is part of the adventure!
- Childcare Experience: You've cared for children for at least 2 years, ages 6 months and up.
- Consistent Schedule: You are ready to create the fun and have at least 2 days of availability from 8am-6pm to work a 6-9 hour shift with a family.
- You're: 18 years old or older, eligible to work in the United States, and willing/able to pass a background check with driving history in accordance with local law.
