Job Description:

A busy and loving family in Winchester is seeking a school savvy, proactive and engaging nanny/tutor to care for their 7 and 10 year old boys. Both parents look forward to welcoming a nanny to help support their children’s activities and to engage them in creative fun. Their 10 year old loves soccer, tennis, skiing, playing Xbox, sketching, and hanging out with friends. Their 7 year old loves soccer and golf, sewing and embroidering, coloring, and animals such as birds & dinosaurs.

The parents look forward to finding a caring and engaging nanny, who can be a gentle motivator, supportive overseer of schoolwork, and who successfully gets the kids outdoors whenever possible – an all-around fun-loving and enriching role model. This position is ideal for a candidate who is organized, motivated, enjoys being active, and part of a collaborative environment but also someone who can engage in down-time.

Responsibilities include:
• School pick-up in North Cambridge and transportation to after-school activities in Winchester. A reliable car is required.
• Overseeing homework and providing academic support.
• Planning and leading engaging activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Children’s laundry, meal preparation, and local errands when children are in afterschool activities.

This is a 16- week, part-time position, Monday to Friday, from 3 to 7:15 pm (or 8:15 pm if preferred) , starting ASAP but ideally September 4th.

A warm-hearted and professional family of four in Brookline are seeking a playful, collaborative, and confident nanny to care for their 2 children, ages 2 and 4 months. The parents have bustling lives and are hoping to find a nanny who is ready to implement engaging activities, and provide a confident and resourceful foundation for their children. The ideal candidate will bring their infant and toddler experience as well as a passion for early childhood development into the home, stepping into the role with autonomy, a playful energy, calm confidence, and ease.

The 2 year old has many interests including arts and crafts, pretend play, books and music. The baby boy is discovering the world around him, loves making eye contact, being cuddled, and having interactive conversations. As he gets a little older he will enjoy playing on his playmat, doing tummy time, and watching his big sister.

A nanny who is dynamic and fun and will be proactive in finding those small and big moments for their children to play and learn.

Other child-related tasks will include:

-Following the feed/nap schedule

-Light tidying of the children’s environment

-Light meal prep for children (making simple meals for the 2 yo, prepping bottles, and eventually pureeing baby foods for the infant)

The ideal nanny will keep the children on a schedule, plan activities during the week, and maintain a daily log for the parents, record feedings, diaper updates, and what they did that day. A nanny with strong communication, reliability, and a helpful spirit will thrive in this role. This placement offers PTO.

The parents are looking for a nanny who will be proactive in finding those small and big moments for their baby to play and learn, all while trying to keep the environment organized, friendly and fun. Having adaptability to evolve with the role as he grows will be key.

This little boy loves music and is very interested in books, walks, exploring the outdoors, putting objects inside containers, puzzles, and being an active runner/climber. The ideal candidate will bring their baby/toddler experience as well as a passion for early childhood development into the home, stepping into the role with autonomy, a playful energy, calm confidence, and ease. The nanny will work to keep him on a schedule, plan activities during the week, and maintain a daily log for the parents. This little guy has a severe dairy allergy (along with sesame and avocado), he also has eczema and one parent has severe asthma/allergies. This family is a completely fragrance-free household. This includes things like laundry detergent, personal hygiene products, perfume/essential oils etc. The family asks on days with the family the caregiver will also be fragrance free. They're happy to provide fragrance-free products for the nanny to support this requirement. Other child-related tasks will include following the feed/nap schedule, helping with baby’s laundry, and light tidying of the baby’s environment. A nanny with strong communication, reliability, and a helpful spirit will thrive in this role.

Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8-1pm. No car/driving is required for this role and there are no pets in the home.

Both parents look forward to welcoming a nanny to help support their children’s homework and to engage them in creative fun. Their 10 year old daughter loves reading, dance and being outdoors. Their 8 year old loves sports such as soccer and basketball and staying busy. The parents look forward to finding a caring and engaging nanny, who can be a gentle motivator, supportive overseer of schoolwork, and who successfully gets the kids outdoors and off screens whenever possible – an all-around fun-loving and enriching role model.

This position is ideal for a candidate who is organized, motivated, enjoys being active, and part of a collaborative school-play environment but also someone who can engage in down-time. A background in education, whether teaching or tutoring, will be a bonus. Other day-to-day tasks include preparing lunches and snacks, folding children’s laundry, driving to activities (a car is required), encouraging the kids to pick up after themselves and pitching in to the overall tidiness of playroom/spaces. The family are animal lovers and have two cats and two dogs.

• This position starts September 3rd and goes through June 20th.

• Schedule is part time: Monday to Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday 11:30-6 and Fridays 11:30-4:30.

• This role includes 5 days of PTO + the Jovie nanny placement completion BONUS!
