Laura H.

Franchise Owner

Laura owns the local offices of Jovie in Glenview and Chicago. She and her husband grew up on the north shore. She has a MA in Mathematics Education and has been a teacher, tutor, and babysitter. Laura uses her knowledge and experience to match role models in the form of nannies and sitters with local families.

Her offices have been Building Stronger Families since 2007 and have achieved Rockstar status multiple years. She can find families long term PT or FT nannies or short term back up sitters for the occasional need. Her Jovie team also provides visitors to the area hotel room childcare as well as group care for events, meetings, and weddings.

This mighty mom to 3 boys is also an avid volunteer and has held positions on the local PTAs, preschool boards, local school councils, and parent association executive councils. She currently participates in the local chamber of commerce, leadership programs, various hospitality organizations, and multiple Jovie committees.

Jackie S.

Sr. Family Services Manager

Jackie serves as the Senior Family Services Manager and is a devoted mother to her son. She has been with Jovie since 2017 and has had the opportunity to work with two different offices. Before joining Jovie, Jackie spent many years as a private nanny, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in childcare. She now applies her expertise as both a former nanny and a parent to connect families with exceptional role models and assist nannies in finding fulfilling positions with great families. Jackie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications and has a deep passion for sports, always eager to cheer on her favorite teams.

Molly P.

Strategic Account Manager

Molly has been with Jovie for a little over three years, starting as our Role Model Coordinator and working her way to her current title, of Strategic Account Manager. She helps to train and orientate all of the sitters on our team, as well as ensuring that throughout their time here they are not only supported, but properly equipped to provide excellent care to all of our families. Prior to working at Jovie, She obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology from Ripon College. This background in human sciences influences the way that she approaches supporting our caregivers, making sure to bring empathy and respect into every conversation. Outside of work, She enjoys reading, writing, and exploring as much of Chicago as she can! She loves being a part of the Jovie team located in the best city in the world, and she is grateful for the opportunity to hire and support our outstanding caregivers.

Meghan P.

Hiring Manager

As the Hiring Manager at Jovie, Meghan brings a unique perspective rooted in her experience as a former nanny and sitter. With 10 years of hands-on childcare experience, she understands the challenges and joys of caring for children, which fuels her passion for connecting families with exceptional caregivers.

She has transitioned from being on the front lines of childcare to guiding the hiring process. Her experience allows her to evaluate candidates not only for their qualifications but also for their ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment.

At Jovie, she prioritizes a thorough vetting process that includes background checks, interviews, and practical assessments to ensure our caregivers align with our mission of Building Stonger Families. She is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with both our caregivers and families, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their choices.

Mica C.

Recruiting Coordinator

Mica joined the Austin, Texas Jovie office in 2023, and then transferred to the Chicago location in 2024. She discovered her love of working with children as a teen, which encouraged her to earn a degree and pursue a career in Dance Education. Now on the Jovie team, she focuses her energy on community outreach and sitter recruitment. You will often find her out and about at a hiring event talking with possible caregivers. In her free time, she loves making art, taking walks by the lake, teaching a few classes on the side, and playing with her cat, Ruby. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and helping them reach their goals!

London M.

Family Services and Hospitality Coordinator

London is the Family Services and Hospitality Coordinator at Jovie, where she connects potential families and sitters with our services- in home and on site in hotels. She also takes the lead in organizing and overseeing events, and loves being on location, engaging with our sitters and the children we care for. Having worked as a sitter and nanny through Jovie she gained valuable experience that has helped her grow in her administrative role. Originally from Minnesota, she now embraces all things Chicago—especially the food! She is also a pug enthusiast and an avid traveler. She looks forward to growing our amazing Jovie team!

Annabella M

Event and Hospitality Coordinator

Starting out as a regular sitter with Jovie in 2024, Annabella now supports the Chicago team as the Event and Hospitality Coordinator, connecting with hotels and event spaces to organize quality care throughout the Chicagoland area. With a decade of childcare experience under her belt, she aims to cultivate spaces where children can have positive experiences away from the home with trusted caregivers. She especially enjoys creating crafts and activities that invite creativity and exercise problem solving and collaborative skills. Annabella is a recent graduate of Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. She is also a current performing artist and costume designer, and can be seen throughout the city both on stage and behind the scenes! When she’s not behind a sewing machine or singing for her cat, Annabella spends much of her time taking care of her plants, appreciating the outdoors, and attempting ambitious home reno and DIY projects. Furthermore, she is eager to be a part of all the wonderfully positive experiences that Jovie offers Chicago families!
