Steve R.
Franchise Owner
Steve is Owner of Jovie of North Texas. He has lived in Keller for nearly 20 years with his four children thriving in the local community. After serving as an aviator/officer in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, he earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Steve went on to practice corporate Finance and HR in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for 17 years. Now, as a Jovie owner, he has the opportunity to combine business with passion to Build Stronger Families in the surrounding communities. Building Stronger Families includes Jovie families, team members, role models and the communities in which Jovie serves. His business focus is to ensure Jovie provides talented and caring nannies, sitters and tutors to the residents of North Texas. When he is not working, you can find him running, biking and hiking or spending time with his kids.

General Manager
Hi! My name is Amy Martin and I am the General Manager for Jovie of North Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Business Administration Management degree. My professional background before Jovie was in general management, recruiting, and training.
Each day, I look forward to leading our fantastic team to help families and businesses with childcare. It is very important to my team and I to learn the needs of our families and businesses to ensure they get the right caregiver- allergies, personalities, location, etc. We have a very specific interview and onboarding process in place before we recommend a nanny.
In my spare time, I am often with my family, exploring with our RV, baking, or volunteering within my community.

Howdy! I’m Monica, the Director of Operations and Sales for Jovie of North Texas.
My journey with Jovie started as a client, where I appreciated the support my family received from the amazing ladies who came into our home. That experience motivated me to join the Jovie team, so I could offer the same support to other young families. The greatest reward is hearing how our team has made a positive impact on a family and improved their daily life.
My family includes four young men, all of whom were homeschooled—two through high school and the other two up until high school. We were always very active in the community, participating in various sports and activities. Today, they are working toward completing college and starting new adventures. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics from Texas A&M University. When I’m not working, I’m usually studying. I also enjoy attempting DIY projects, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington and plan on receiving a master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Hi! I’m Alexis and I currently manage the payroll process for Jovie of North Texas. I graduated as an honors student at the University of Texas at Austin in May, 2024. I studied Government and was on a Pre-Law Track. I was awarded the Emile Boutmy scholarship and will pursue a master’s degree in Immigration Policy & Security at the Institute for Political Science (Sciences Po) in Paris, France. I will live in Paris for at least two years but will continue to work for Jovie. I lived in Keller prior to moving to Austin and joined the Jovie team in 2021. I enjoy reading, cooking, working out, and exploring Paris!

My name is Derria Money, the Business Development Coordinator for Jovie of North Texas. I have an Associate’s Degree and presently, I am pursuing a degree in Social Work with a minor in rehabilitation services at the University of North Texas. My passion for nurturing young minds and fostering holistic development within both home and educational environments is at the core of my decision to further pursue my education through graduate studies, aspiring to attain licensure as a distinguished practitioner in the field. Having embarked on my educational pursuits, I relocated from Dallas to Denton in 2022. I spend my free time engrossed in crime shows, reading, volunteering to uplift my community, cooking and spoiling my cat, Toji.

Hi there! My name is Zoe, and I am the scheduling coordinator for Jovie of North Texas. I moved to the Fort Worth area in October 2024 and have loved exploring my new city. I'm originally from Austin and loved seeing the city grow from a young age. In May of 2023, I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. I've always had a creative mind and love to explore my ideas through arts and crafts. I started out nannying when I was 14 and have loved getting to know the families I work for. Now, as the scheduling coordinator, I'm able to see behind the scenes of this great company and create new memories with the team and nannies. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three cats (Luna, Kitty, and Nailah), going for bike rides with my boyfriend, cooking/baking, and doing chores around the house.

Wedding Childcare: Many brides wonder what they should do about wedding babysitting services for their wedding. We can either provide individual hotel babysitters that your guests can book for their individual room, or you can choose to provide event childcare.
Convention, Conference, and Event Childcare: Make your conference, convention, or wedding an even bigger hit by providing themed event babysitter services for the children (ages 0-12). Our event babysitters transform a plain room into a themed play center of puzzles, blocks, coloring books, age-appropriate arts and crafts, movies, music and dance, jewelry making, picture frame-making, painting, books, face painting and more. We also fully staff it with an event coordinator and an energetic team of caregivers.
Hotel Childcare: When you are traveling to Houston, we understand that it can make you nervous to schedule a hotel babysitter for your childcare needs.
